Celebrating Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, Syfy UK teamed up with Ithaca to create a musical homage to the show, dedicated to the fans.

Andrew W Rae worked with Ithaca to create an ambitious and innovative remix of Minnie Riperton’s ‘Lovin’ You’ using only sound effects and dialog from Star Trek. The goal was to acknowledge the love that the fans have for the show and thank them in the form of an iconic ballad, reimagined in a way Star Trek fans would appreciate most of all.

Andrew W Rae collaboratively arranged & produced the audio whilst gaining his first cameo appearance in the film.
