Andrew W Rae has received his first Darc Award nomination for his role at Ithaca for the audio visual installation ‘The Storm’. The project was shortlisted in the Light Art / Low Budget Category.

‘The Storm’ is an audio reactive installation exploring natural and supernatural thunder soundscapes and light diffusion.

Sixteen feet of cloud covering spreads from ceiling to floor and conceals over 6,000 individually coded LED lights in this walk around immersive audio visual experience. Previewed here in the eerie subterranean surroundings of the old police cells under Brighton Town Hall.

Sound design and light programming all produced by Andrew W Rae on behalf of Ithaca.
