VIAPLAY SONIC BRANDING
Commissioned by Nordic Entertainment Group, Andrew W Rae was asked to produce a sonic logo to introduce NENT-Viaplay’s original program content on Viaplay’s streaming platform.
The brief was to provide a positive and contemporary audio identity in keeping with the company’s existing branding, the Scandinavian heritage of the broadcaster and the broad range of content that features on the platform.
Using a minimalistic and contemporary approach, numerous ethereal & reverberant sounds are layered together to create an open & spacious feel with plenty of depth and intrigue. Processed and reversed organic sounds were also added to retain a sense of familiarity and a natural feel.
