2017 Music and Sound Award Winner

Andrew W Rae has won a 2017 Music+Sound Award alongside Ithaca for their collaborative effort on Syfy’s ‘A Song to Star Trek’ promo. The project won ‘Best Re-Record or Adaptation – Online, Viral, Ambient Advertising’.

‘A Song to Star Trek’ featured an experimental remix of Minnie Riperton’s ‘Lovin’ You’ and was created using purely sound effects and dialog from Star Trek, as part of the Syfy UK Channel’s Star Trek 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Ithaca’s radio commercial for BMW’s Series 3 was also lucky enough to receive a nomination at the 2017 Music & Sound Awards in the ‘Best Sound Design in Radio Advertising’ category.
